The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
